I attempted the same thing on my laptop and didn't see any difference. I switched cables, I switched USB outlets, and I even bought a USB hub. ![]() When it is plugged in, there is no PC/USB connector sound from the PC - that it is recognizing a new plugged in device. I installed the USBTiny drivers, or at least attempted to, as I never received the installation prompt. Now, my PC isn't recognizing the device, and potentially the drivers. If I hit the reset button on the microcontroller, it continued the same behavior. The green power light would turn on, but the red would turn on for 2 seconds, and then turn off, never blinking or flashing. ![]() I recently bought a Neopixel LED strip and an Adafruit Trinket, not Pro, to get started.īefore I did anything, I attempted to connect the trinket via USB to my PC. ![]() So, I'll preface this with saying that I'm a newbie to this stuff.
